All courses require an in-person exam in Orlando, FL.

Time and date of exam is arranged following the completion of the course.

The Level 2 in Wines course is the most popular course offered by the WSET. It is appropriate for a serious wine lover or someone in the wine or hospitality trade who wants to acquire a detailed knowledge of the characteristics of the principal grape varieties, wine styles, their methods of production, as well as being able to successfully interpret the labels of the major wines and understand the principals of wine tasting and evaluation. This course will enable students to provide guidance on the storage and service of wines and make informed recommendations to customers and friends. The course ends with a 50-question multiple-choice examination. A successful passing of the exam leads to the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, a highly-respected professional qualification.

The Level 3 course is a challenging and broad-reaching program of study that covers all of the world's major wine regions in-depth. The unique characteristics of each region are examined in detail, from the historical origins, to the regulations and current day controversies. 6-8 carefully-chosen wines will be tasted in each class which will illustrate the major points made in the lecture. The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, short answer essays and a blind tasting. 

Prerequisite: WSET Level 2, CMS Level 2 or Instructor Permission

Textbooks and exam fees for all courses are included in the course fee.

Course fees are non-refundable.

In the event of cancellation, course fees are transferable to another student or to a future course.

7 days advance notice is required for transfer of course fees.

The Level 1 in Wines course is a broad overview of the world of wine. It is ideal for those working in wine or hospitality as well as devoted wine lovers. The course covers the main types and styles of wine available and how to serve and store wine. Students will hone their tasting abilities with an expert-guided tasting of 8 wines. The highlight of the class is an extensive discussion of the principals of food and wine pairing followed by a hands-on demonstration. There is a 30-question multiple-choice exam at the end of the course, after which the class will enjoy a Champagne toast. Those who pass the exam will earn the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines.
